I am currently living in the Vancouver, BC, Canada area and the number of H1N1 cases are increasing. I’m a student of UBC and I know friends who are sick. For the past two days I’ve been feeling a bit dizzy and need more sleep than usual (around 11+ hours) and after I get up, I feel tired soon after and need to sleep some more. About a day ago my throat started getting sore and it hurts to drink or eat. I don’t cough and don’t sneeze (maybe one or two times?). I’ve started taking some medicine but was wondering if this could be the H1N1 or seasonal flu? I know different people act differently to H1N1 but was wondering if people have similar symptoms like mine and know it’s H1N1 from doctor? As well, I know what it feels like to have the flu (I could barely get up) but right now I can do many things but just a bit tired from time to time.

What Are The Chances I Have H1n1, And When Would I Show Symptoms? (if I Had It)?
My boyfriend was at this parents for a few days because he was working in their area. His brother, 8, has H1N1 symptoms. (Sever coughing and High Fever) He has been like this for 2-3 days. I don’t know when his parents are going to get him checked for it, but I do know my boyfriend has been staying there for 4 days. His family is bad with washing their hands, never mind covering their mouth.
My boyfriend came home 2 hours ago, and told me he was worried about his little brother because of his symptoms being very related to H1N1.
I think the chances are high that is could have been passed to my boyfriend, and possible me, since I gave him a major kiss when he came home.
So, if we did catch this, H1N1 or just a cold, when would I start feelings rough? (coughing, etc)
I am suppose to see my brother tomorrow, and he has a very busy life and gets sick very easily. The last thing I’d want is to give him this. So, if hypothetically I had it, but didn’t feel it coming until tomorrow night, could I still pass it on to him?
H1n1 Symptoms – Do I Have It?
There has been a big H1N1 outbreak were I am located. So bad that they have quarantined parts of the hospitals, over hundreds of students away from school with this flue and its a 8-10 hour wait for a doctor. Now, All businesses have been given notices to send employees home if they are sick and … so forth.
So anyways, to my question. In the past two days I have been getting the following symptoms and I was just wondering if they are symptoms of the H1N1. (I know I will have to eventually go to the doctors but I dont have time to wait all day for one). SO these are what I have been getting:
scratchy/itchy throat
runny nose and sneezing
Flem in my throat leading to coughing
Cotton ball like head
out of energy and
funny feeling in my stomach with nausea
H1n1 Symptoms And Information?
Hey everyone,
I’m going to England tomorrow -don’t have much of a choice as it’s organized by our school. According to my mother and classmates, it’s one of the countries which are the most affected by the H1N1 virus (formerly known as swine influenza). I’ve read that the symptoms are: fever, runny or stuffy nose, cough, body aches, sore throat, headaches, etc… But where does it ache exactly (legs, back, stomach?)? I know how you catch it, but why do some people die of it and to others, it’s simply benign?
Swine Flu (h1n1 Symptoms)?
I have all of the symptoms of swine flu(h1n1) except for the vomiting(which I had yesterday some) and the cough. I know you’re probably going to tell me it’s just the regular flu but I have all flu symptoms except vomiting and a horrible cough. Swine has it’s own symptoms which I have. It’s going around my area and a few college kids in my area got it. I’m going to the doctor tomorrow I just want to know if you think it could be it.
H1n1 Symptoms? Please Answer…?
I’ve had all of the H1N1 symptoms, but on and off throught out 2-3 weeks.
The first week I was coughing/sneezing, sweating but cold, all of the flu sort of stuff. The second week I was coughing uncontrolably. And this week (the 3rd week) I have a temperatue, I have horrible body aches and a headache, still uncontrolable coughing…
Could I have it?
