Ok, here’s the deal…
My daughter and I both went to the doctor and were tested for the swine flu via swabs in the nose and mouth, they came back negative- but the doctor said half of them come back as false negatives and my symptoms indicate that I have it (both of us). So we were put on Tamiflu. My concern now is, what if it WASN’T H1N1 and was seasonal and now what is our risk? Am I still able to get the vaccine even though I’ve taken Tamiflu- is it safe? We had no stomach symptoms at all just high fevers, chills, body aches, headaches, cough, and sore throat- and very tired…what should I do?? Is it dangerous to have taken the Tamiflu and get vaccinated? On the does info it says not to take the Tamiflu if you have been vaccinated in the last 2 weeks or plan to within 2 days so this is where my concern arises…
I do not know where people get their information. Remember folks, anyone can say anything they want…it does not mean it is true. You should believe the science (which has limitations, but it is better than opinions). The science (real studies by real scientists) says that vaccination is the best protection against the horrible symptoms of the flu. There are no major bad effects from vaccination reported.
Tamiflu will not do anything bad. It can block the development of immunity if you take it at the same time than the live vaccine. However the tamiflu maker and the CDC suggest that after 48 hours of taking the pill, there is no tamiflu in you.
It is ok to take the injectable form of the vaccine while on tamiflu. So, you are fine, even if it was not h1n1.
These vaccines everyone takes don’t do anything! It is just sugar water. That is it!
Why the hassle of all these setups for public to get vaccines? So the public doesn’t run around like the morons they are demanded cure for a disease that gives you a mild cold and headache. Plus it puts people to work.
Vaccines = nothing. Don’t bother.
