Yes, don’t even tell me about the “one in a million” chances. It still happened.
And the CDC says there’s “no clear link” when the person got symptoms of GBS just HOURS after getting the vaccine! Unbelievable!
From the article: “Doctors are reluctant to discuss GBS in connection with vaccines… Anti-vaccine groups frequently cite the disorder as evidence of vaccine dangers, which public health officials fear will discourage people from getting life-saving protection, especially in the case of H1N1.”
–But it IS evidence! The “odds” don’t make an incident like this “okay.”
article: “…officials have urged the public not to blame the vaccine for the illnesses.”
–WHAT?

Interesting..I also just read an article about Chinese children dieing after receiving the vaccine..I was naive before, but now i think the government is trying to kill us.
The cause for GBS remains unknown. There are a number of infections that are associated with the condition, as well as some data suggesting a statistical relationship with seasonal flu vaccination. No causality has ever been shown.
The fact is that a number of Americans would suffer GBS if the H1N1 vaccine did not exist.
This young man’s symptoms are atypical for GBS. I’m not certain that the diagnosis is even accurate without more testing than he apparently had.
If 100 million Americans catch H1N1, tens of thousands will die from it. If 100 million Americans get the H1N1 vaccine, by your own argument, 100 will have GBS. You have a far greater chance of dying from H1N1 than getting GBS from the vaccine, by orders of magnitude.
Yes.It happens everyday.Just ask the parents of children with autism. The only difference is the children are usually too young to tell someone about it.One in a million my butt!!!!!! try every 1 in 91!!!!
I knew it,if you get the Swine Flu vaccine get the nose spray. It is safer than the one with the needle.I read it at infowars
That’s very, very clearly not a vaccine-linked case of GBS.
GBS is an autoimmune disease where the adaptive immune system attacks nervous tissue. Infections can cause this to happen since many pathogens mimic human antigens in order to evade the immune response. Campylobacter jejuni is responsible for most of them, although other pathogens including some strains influenza (and their vaccines) likely can cause it.
How do we know this isn’t a vaccine caused case of GBS? The timetable. It happened hours after his vaccination. The immune system takes days to weeks to mount an antibody response. This is an unfortunate bizarre coincidence. The CDC has a damn good reason to say there is no link. There simply wasn’t enough time.
You should try to learn some basic immunology before making these rants.
Or probability for that matter. Even something unlikely will happen eventually.
