There has been a big H1N1 outbreak were I am located. So bad that they have quarantined parts of the hospitals, over hundreds of students away from school with this flue and its a 8-10 hour wait for a doctor. Now, All businesses have been given notices to send employees home if they are sick and … so forth.
So anyways, to my question. In the past two days I have been getting the following symptoms and I was just wondering if they are symptoms of the H1N1. (I know I will have to eventually go to the doctors but I dont have time to wait all day for one). SO these are what I have been getting:
scratchy/itchy throat
runny nose and sneezing
Flem in my throat leading to coughing
Cotton ball like head
out of energy and
funny feeling in my stomach with nausea
it doesn’t matter if you have it. its not going to kill you. the death rate of swine flu in the United States is >0.1%. dont forget that during the average flu season in a city of 1 million, 10 000 people get the flu each day. nearly 500 thousand people die each year around the world from regular flu. swine is just another type of flu,,. part of that 500 000 you could say.
if you get the flu, stay home. it shouldnt matter if its swine flu or not.
dont go to the doctor, they are busy enough as it is, and what happens if theres an actual emergency? someone who has a heart attack will die because 55 people are waiting in line for him to tell them they should go home and go to bed.
Cold and swine flu both have few similar symptoms that can confuse to anybody and it is necessary for us to know about the difference between both conditions and their symptoms.http://www.knowabouthealth.com/different…
You can check if you have swine flu through the online tool developed by Microsoft:http://www.knowabouthealth.com/microsoft…
It should not be considered as medical advice. If you find that tool suggests you to see a doctor, call a nurse hotline number to confirm this assessment or visit a doctor.
What about a fever?
If you have an 100 or up, it is a posibility.
I had a 103.3 and I just got checked yesterday and I have it!
If you think you have, DO NOT wait go to the doctors because if you go within 2 days of symptoms you can get TamiFlu.
Symptoms are the same as regular flu, just harsher.
Get some asafoetida, and Indian herb that has been shown to kill swine flu:
