I have been sick for about 5-6 days now with pain in my chest, cough, chills, and a headache. Just last night I started getting a fever. Today I went to the walkin clinic and the doctor quickly asked me what my symptoms were, he told me I wasn’t having chills, which I am, and he prescribed me the TAMIFLU antibiotic, but I read up on it and refuse to take it. He didn’t do much. Just asked me questions. He told me to go for my h1n1 vaccine, so I did immediately after leaving the office. Now I’ve got a fever of 100.7 and my chest is still very sore. The pains haven’t gone away and tylenol isn’t helping at all. My entire body is aching.
Should I go up to emerge and let them check me out there?

tamiflu isn’t an antibiotic
Swine flu has been totally overdone. Did you notice how many people all of a sudden “were sick” once it got to the US? Sounds like you have the regular flu. Not much they can do in the ER that you can’t do yourself. Try taking a cold bath, put a cold washrag on your stomach, chest, and head/neck. Use Vicks to help your sinuses clear up. With the flu, everything is sore; get some well-needed rest! Hope you get better.

P.S. Might also try a heating pad on your sore muscles.
