I was at a friends house all weekend who was diagnosed today of having the H1N1 virus. I wanted to know if i was contagious too?

I would say fairly soon. If you start feeling aches and pains and chills call your dr asap. I recently had it and got put on tamiflu asap. This drug is a miracle!
Typically 24-48 hours. If you start feeling sick, go to the doctor IMMEDIATELY and get a prescription for tamiflu, as if you take it within the first 48 hours you will recover almost immediately and have very minor symptoms.
You didn’t make out with him did you? I wouldn’t be concerned unless he coughed all over you and you start feeling ill the next day.
gdaughter caught it was diagnosed put on tamiflu monday saw her tuesday.. wed her mom my daughter was so ill had to go to her at 11pm sanitize her home bath her and care for her .. i was fine healthy then 6 hours later it knock me out.. for 30+ hours.once i recovered my littlest one woke up with it. now we are all sick and getting better daily.. i would say i either caught it on tuesday and it took till 6am thur to feel symptoms or i got it that wed nite and fell sick within hours.. ive had alot of illness and this was by far one of the worst strains of flu i ever caught it keeps mutating and the symptoms keep changing.. and my littlest one was able to get on tamiflu but shes not improving i thought she was but for 2 days now tonite back to full fever and non stop coughing.. might have to go back to dr in few hours..
