How Long Did It Take You To Show Symptoms Of H1n1 From A Infected Family Member?

My 4 year old daughter started showing symptoms last Friday. She is still running high fever and cough. Doc says this will probably go on until Sunday. Day 10 but she is still very contagious right now.
No one else in the home is sick or showing any signs. So for those of you who have been up close and personal with someone infected with H1N1 how many days later did you get sick, if you did?

Personally, it took me only three days to start showing symptoms.
But if you get symptoms then it usually starts about a week after you;ve come into contact with the virus.

Hi Me 3 — Im in contact w/ sick people often @ Salvy and now live in House-less shelter house with over 10 people.
Last Friday had symptoms as well as 1 house mate. ER Dr told me we are contagious until fever is ended 2 days. This can take over 1 week to get fever down. My fever was 102 and felt chills, sweat & head ache ’til Monday. Now still have cough, taking flu medicine with 10% alcohol!
Hope every one stays well. May help drink more fluids than normal.
