My doctor recommended it and I said no. He must have asked me at least 10 times. Everyone in the doctors office was looking at me in shame! I just saw on the news last night that no one has died from the H1N1 flu unless they had an underlying problem and they didn’t treat the flu for at least 7 days. To be honest I think I already got it. I had all the symptoms, it lasted two days, and I was fine. I don’t want to risk that they don’t know the effects on the baby yet because of a flu shot that doesn’t even seem necessary to me. I don’t have asthma or any medical condition other than being pregnant.
Why were they making me feel like I’m neglecting my baby for not getting it?
