8998 H1N1,AIDS,Gynecology

I’m a teenager who has had asthma for over 12 years.
My little cousin who is 5, just found out today that their pretty sure that she has H1N1.. she lives about 2hr. away from me,
Now my mom is freaking out that i might have a good chance to getting H1N1 because of my asthma and my immune systems is not real strong.. their are no cases of H1N1 in my county that i’m aware of.
I really hate shots, but the nasal vaccine is not availible in my area,
If you ask me I would tell you that i’ve been sick for the past month, because in that time i’ve been ‘sick’ with a cold, which got the best of my and i could haredly breathe and had it really bad in my chest. Coughing and wheezing lots for about a week or two, then I got better, but my chest didnt. Another week later my chest started getting better, but then i woke up and had a cold again.. So my chest never ended up to get better until last week. I feel fine now, but still have a slight cough every once and awhile, which doesnt seem like too much because my family and i just grow used to hearing it.. which tends to happen sometimes.
In the past month on and off, i’ve felt like i’ve had a fever or two.. Maybe not too bad, but just mild; i may have not even had a fever, maybe it had just been a bad headache, which i’ve been having a lot of lately, Also I have not been getting enough sleep.. maybe 6 1/2 hours or so nightly, because of my busy schedule. which is another reason why i feel when i’m not feeling good at all, i feel that i cant go home because i want to play in my volleyball game since it means so much to me, and i’ve never had a perfect attendance in school because of my asthma and some of its problems, which is what i’m really shooting for this year so i really never want to go home, unless i’m really really sick and cant stand up (which hasnt been the case yet) and very much fatique and sometimes diarrhea..
any of this tie into H1N1 ?
I’m confused and i need an answer, or a suggestion;
Should i get the vaccine or is it going to make things worse?
Please comment if you know anything about the virus or anything extra i can do to prevent getting it , besides the obbivous fact of washing my hands.
