Hi. I have h1n1. I found out sat when I went to the doctor unable to breathe. i was given oxygen, breathing treatments and a couple of shots. today is day 6 and I still don’t feel well. I have a headache, I’m coughing, my stomach is queasy, I have congestion, I’m very tired, and sore. I was supposed to go to work today, I’m not sure if they believe that I still feel bad. how long do the symptoms last?

Do I Have The H1n1 Virus? Will It Kill Me? How Long For Recovery?
I’m a fifteen year old girl in Illinois. I am having symptoms similar to those experienced by people who had H1N1. I started not feeling so good on Monday, but it was only muscle and joint aches. Yesterday, just out of the blue, I got this really bad headache. I started having chills and my muscles and joints just hurt like nothing else. I took some generic night time medicine stuff and it knocked me out for a few hours. About an hour after I woke up it started all over again, only more mild. I am not having diarrhea, vomiting, or a sore throat. I am not having trouble breathing, and my chest and abdomen area don’t hurt or feel like there is pressure put on them. My stomach doesn’t hurt. I am having sort of a dry cough, but it’s not bad. My body temperature ranges from 99.5 – 100 degrees. The headache went away for the most part, but it comes and goes. It hurts most when I look at bright things and when I look up. I don’t take any regular medications and I don’t have a chronic illness. I sometimes have chills and sometimes start sweating. Could it just be the seasonal flu? Or a cold? Could it be severe PMS, because I’m also having tenderness in my breasts and I am supposed to start my period this weekend? If it is H1N1, how long does it last for? How should I treat it? Will it kill me? Will it kill me suddenly? I have been researching this subject and and my mind is still not at ease. Please, someone help me. I don’t want to die.

For How Long Is H1n1 Contagious?
I came down with Swine Flu on Sunday. My fever spiked on Tuesday, then started to come down. Wednesday I developed bronchitis. I’ve had a slight, low-grade fever (never over 100F) since then, but I’ve not had one at all today. It’s been 8 days since the first symptoms. Am I still contagious? How long will I be contagious?

After Contact With H1n1, If You Were To Contract The Virus, How Long Would It Take To Get Sick?
I was in the E.R. the other day with my infant and I’m pretty sure some of the people around us had the virus. We were able to be move to a seprate room to wait, due to him being so young and vulnerable and I as well just having gone through pregnancy, but of course I’m still worried. This was Saturday evening. If one, or both, of us were to get sick would we be sick or showing any symptoms by now? Thank You.

How Long Should I Wait Before Calling The H1n1 Ambulance?
My father’s showing symptoms of fatigue. I brought food and water to him. He could still eat and drink by himself. However he seems to find it hard to walk. He would shower if he really wants to but at the moment, he sometimes would urinate from his foldable chair.
He occasionally would cough. By occasionally I meant a few coughs every like 12 hrs. I asked him to go see a doctor but he doesn’t seem want to. It’s been like this for at 3 days.
I read that if you don’t show severe and obvious H1N1 symptoms, you won’t get treated nor tested for it. How long should I wait to call an ambulance or how do I make my father see a doctor first?

I Got My First Seasonal Flu Shot Two Weeks Ago. How Long Should I Wait To Get The H1n1 Shot?
I’m 37 and healthy. I’ve had the regular flu shot and want the swine flu shot when it’s available. But I think I heard somewhere that if you’ve only had one seasonal flu shot, you should wait a couple of months before you get the swine flu shot, just to make sure you don’t have any symptoms or complications from flu vaccination in general. Medical professionals, is this accurate? And if it is, how long should I wait? Many thanks.

How Long After You Contract The H1n1 Virus Do You Start To Show Symptoms?
My friend had swine flu on my bday and didn’t know she had it. She was feeling kinda crappy and was diagnosed a few days later. My bday was like a week and a half ago. Would it be possible for me to have caught it and not show symptoms yet or is it most likely I didn’t catch it? I know there are tons of questions on the flu, I’m just pregnant and have a 1 1/2 year old. I’ve started to be extra tired, still and have a runny nose over the past few days and I want to be able to rule this out.
