is this stupid virus still a issue? maybe im just being ignorant but isnt everyone that is effected by this this virus only either old,or weak?isnt the media playing this off like its a emergency to me the symptoms and results of this so called “virus” is the same as any other flu? y is this one so important.Im a strong and healthy and in my early 20″s should i even be worried? can someone please inform me?

Another Question About H1n1?
Very sorry to add to the growing list of H1N1 questions, but recently a friend of mine contracted it and I have a few questions I have not found answers to.
My friend was taken to the hospital about an hour ago by paramedics. Her boyfriend called me and told me she had slept from around 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm and she called him to tell him she was scared, shaking, and she didn’t know why she was sleeping so much. I don’t have much information about her condition, but would anyone be able to give me a guess of how severe it would be at that point?
Another question I have is concerning her past with flu shots. When I talked to her about it around a year or two ago, she said she had never gotten one in her life. Will this have a negative effect on her recovery? Or will it not make too much of a difference? She is very physically active and has a strong immune system, but lately she has been very stressed; will this also affect her recovery?
Last question is about those of us who have been around her for the past few days/weeks. Are there any symptoms we should look for in particular for when it is first contracted? We all know there is a high possibility we could have caught it, but is there any way to tell for sure in the early stages? If it means anything, another close friend of hers and myself have had headaches for the past 2 or 3 days, but I am unsure if her boyfriend has symptoms at the moment.

My symptoms are a croupy cough, fever, headache, light headedness, tightness in chest, (I have asthma) and body aches/chills…do I have H1N1 or seasonal Flu or neither… Please help!

H1n1 Help- Sorry In Advance If This Is A Dumb Question?
I have been feeling really ill for the week. I thought i was getting better, than my kids are on a sleep strike due to coughing, and i feel worse than i did before. I don’t know if i have a cold or the Flu or the swine flu? does anyone know what symptoms are of H1N1? how does it differ from seasonal flu? what should i do if i cannot get the needed rest? ( i have a two and a half year old and a soon to be 1 year old, with a husband who works away from home, my family is close by but never willing to help or offer!) I am very concerned.

Question About The Flu??? (h1n1 And Regular)?
i think i might be getting the flu. i had it when i was younger. I don’t remember it much though. But Every once in a while i feel fine, then sickly/unusual/different, then fine again, then different etc….
is this normal??
Do i maybe not have the flu??
By the way i DON’T HAVE ALL of the symptoms but i do have:
(out of the H1N1 symptoms)
•unusual tiredness, (ALL DAY)
•headache, (ALL DAY to the point where its hard for me to concentrate)
•loss of appetite
•aching muscles, (ALL DAY)
(out of ‘normal’ flu symptoms)
◦cough (only in the morning)
◦runny or stuffy nose (stuffy but only every once in a while)
•headache (ALL DAY)
•muscle aches, (ALL DAY)
•fatigue, sometimes extreme.(ALL DAY but NOT EXTREME)
also im 13
if i dont have the flu what do you think is wrong???

Question About H1n1?? And Symptoms?
Okay So I know that this H1N1 is scaring alot of people but I just need to ask. I have had a cold for about 4 days now and I would like to know if I should go to the doctor I see on some websites to stay away from hospitals if your just a little sick. But just wondering I have a cough no fever just cough and runny nose and sometimes a head ache.

Question Only For Those Who Had Abnormal Pap Smears Please Help!!?
I got a pap smear (my first) last tuesday night and was wondering if you think if anything was wrong I would have heard back from my doctor by now? I am prob just being paranoid but those who’ve had abnormal paps, how did your doctor contact you and how long after your appointment? Please those who had normal paps do not answer this. Also if anyone works in gynecology if they could let me know how long a pap usually takes to get back?

Can’t Seem To Find An Answer For My Gynecology Question?
Well here goes. I’ve been faced with having painful sex for about a year and a half now. It’s really frustrating. I’ve been treated for a bladder infection, yeast infection, pelvic inflammatory disease, have had four cultures and all have came back negative for any std’s. The pain seems like it’s inside the vagina right before you get to the actual muscles. I think it’s called the inner labia. The entrance of the vagina hurts also. It feels raw. It hurts when I touch it, or when/after I have sex. And it burns when I urinate if I touch/have sex before. It doesn’t hurt sitting, riding a bike, etc. I have no idea what to do. I can’t see a doctor, I have no medical insurance left, my plan was cancelled. So if anyone has a similar situation please help. Give me some suggestions. If you have any information on vaginismus, vulvar vestibulitis, endometriosis, or any other condition that would be helpful, please explain. I’ve only been with one guy, my current boyfriend, and we haven’t even had sex in about two weeks, and I haven’t touched it until today and it still hurts. For about six months at the beginning of our relationship sex was great, no pain at all. Than bam it hit me.
