What Is The Incubation Period Of The Swine Flu, A/h1n1?
by admin
The Swine Flu, H1N1, is a growing pandemic threat. How long is it from the time of exposure, until the time that symptoms appear, and also, to the time of contagion? The latter two may be the same, but the former should be different.
I am concerned, as any responsible person should be about his health, the health of his family, friends, and community.
I am a student of history, and know that with the 1918 pandemic, people got sick, then recovered, and then later, died by the bushel full.
I am extremely concerned about his situation. If it becomes something rather benign, my concern is unwarranted. If my concern is on the other extreme, we should be alarmed and take as many precautions as possible.
Prudence says to wait for the facts to come. But, maybe, prudence says, let’s shut down things to be safe, rather than sorry.
In light of the global economic crisis, I think that countries are slow to shut down travel due to the further hit on global business.
I think they are cowards, and this time should show great bravery…..let the chips fall where they may. If the epidemiological situation signals pandemic, shut things down.

What Are Schools Around The World Doing About H1n1 Influenza (swine Flu)?
by admin
I’d like to know what actions schools around the world are taking to prevent H1N1 (Swine) Flu spreading! To be honest, schools in my country are giving any student with any flu-like symptoms a 1 week sickness holiday. Any school that is proven to have a student with swine flu would close the class with the student in it, and if 2 or more students are proven to be infected in 2 different classes, the whole school is shut down for 2 weeks!

Do I Have The Swine Flu/h1n1?
by admin
Give me a rundown on the symptoms and I’ll tell you what’s been happening to me:
-My temperature hit 103 degrees (F)
-I’ve had major chills when it really isn’t that cold
-I’ve had a semi-soar throat
-The past couple of days I’ve woke up extremely dizzy and dazed
-When i cough, I have small pain in my throat
But I feel fine, honest. That’s why I doubt them all. but I have asthma and also haven’t gotten my flu shot or my H1N1 shot. If I really do have it… the f-bomb can’t even describe how screwed I am. I’m but a teenager, so notifying the doctor would be difficult. And my parents, on the other hand, are dumb as

Could This Be Swine Flu/h1n1?
by admin
Okay, so I’m not a germ freak in any way, and don’t have a fear of swine flu. However, I was sick today and looked up the swine flu symptoms. All the sites said temperature, headache, muscle soreness, runny nose, cough, sore throat, tiredness, etc. I went black Friday shopping and was warmly dressed, but I went to an outlet mall at midnight. It was cold, and I was exposed to a lot of people. Then I rode horses for 2 hours in 54 or so degree weather in only a sweatshirt. I rode Sunday. So today, Monday, I stayed home sick. I slept most the day, and when I sat up after lying down, had a huge headache. (this is not unusual for me) My temperature has ranged from below average to a slight temperature. (97.9 to 99.5 degrees farenheit) My throat hurts and gargling salt water, cough drops, and other things haven’t worked. My nose has been runny/stuffy as well. Could this be H1N1? Please only serious answers/advice.

My Doctor Said I Had H1n1 (swine Flu) But ….?
by admin
Ok , so I have been sick for the past 3 days with Symptoms of ….. Chills (I will get really really cold then hot , then sweaty?) , Coughs, sore throat , headaches, stomach ache, Warm/Hot “Head and Cheeks” LOL, dizziness (only in the morning when I wake up) , and just yesterday I think I Might have lost my appetite.
Anyways, my mom was going to take my brother and I to the doctors because i felt like C-R-A-P and my brother had this massive earache.
So when I got to the doctors, the doctor told me I might have the FLU, but positive Swine Flu… Which I was like “Swine Flu?” SHE DIDN’T EVEN TEST ME IF I DID! Which I DON’T get!??! So she told my mom just to take Ibuprofen.
So when my mom went to the pharmacist to get the medicine for me and my brother. My mom told the pharmacist that the doctor told me that I was positive h1n1. But he didn’t see why she didn’t test me , because I probably don’t have it. He said I might just have maybe a Cold , or Fever.
Do you think I have the swine ? ? ?

What Is The Diff. Between Swine Flue And H1n1?
by admin
I asked about my mom getting her shots and is there a cure for the swine flue and I got a lot of good answers but this is all confusing to me because here was one of my answers.
NO, there is no known cure for ANY virus of any kind. there is only treatment of symptoms and support of the body until the disease runs it’s course. Heck, they can’t even cure a common cold.
BTW, swine flu, is a misnomer, it is not the virus that is causing the pandemic…that virus is named H1N1 and is completely different from “swine flu”.

Could some one tell me the truth about swine flue and H1N1 please?

Do I Have H1n1 (swine Flu)?
by admin
I have had cold-like symptoms for the past two weeks (headache, chest congestion, runny nose, etc.) but recently woke up with an excruciatingly painful migraine to the point where I couldn’t stand up. I also had more severe chest congestion, runny nose, a sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, muscle pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, and a high fever accompanied with hallucinating. I have slept for the past 20 hours and haven’t eaten for 2 days. My physician thinks I have H1N1 (Swine Flu) but I have not been tested yet. Is he right?

What In Your Opinion Can “cure All Symtoms Of The Desease” That Is The H1n1 Swine Flu Virus ?
by admin
i’ve heard about diehard soccer fans but this tops the score..
Russian soccer fans have been told to drink whisky on their trip to Wales for next month’s World Cup qualifier to ward off the H1N1 swine flu virus, the head of the country’s supporter association (VOB) said on Monday.
“We urge our fans to drink a lot of Welsh whisky as a form of disinfection,” VOB head Alexander Shprygin told Reuters.
“That should cure all symptoms of the disease.”
Russia’s Health Ministry has issued a public warning against travelling to Britain because of the spread of the H1N1 virus but Shprygin said he expected at least several hundred fans would go to Wales for the Sept. 9 qualifier in Cardiff.
“Health officials say this virus is very dangerous but being a fan myself I can tell you that for a real fan nothing is more important than the well-being of the team,” said Shprygin, who also sits on the executive board of the Russian FA.
“Russian fans don’t fear anything or anybody so this virus will not stand in our way of supporting our team.”
The Russian FA also said health issues should not prevent fans from travelling.
“We don’t want our team to be without any support for such an important match so we urge our fans to go to Wales despite the health warning,” a spokesman said.
Germany lead European Group Four with 16 points from six games, one ahead of Russia, with Wales in fourth place on nine points from seven matches.

Should My Company / Business Be Preparing For The Pending H1n1 Swine Flu Pandemic?
by admin
Now is the time to prepare your business !
To help stop the pandemic of H1N1 swine flu virus employers should be preparing to combat the spread of the virus in the workplace. This can be done with;
- Alcohol gel dispensers like the ones in hospitals.
- Alcohol wipes for cleaning telephones and keyboards etc as the virus will live on hard surfaces for several hours.
- Displaying “Now Wash Your Hands Signs” to remind employees and customers washing hands can help reduce the spread of the virus.
- Issuing FFP2 class face masks to staff who deal directly with
customers who may have the virus.
- Ensuring the workplace has an abundant supply of tissues.
The problem with swine flu is the symptoms are similar to seasonal flu and staff are not going to give up their pay just to ensure they are not spreading a potentially deadly virus.
Therefore it is up to your employer to prepare your workplace.
