And the CDC says there’s “no clear link” when the person got symptoms of GBS just HOURS after getting the vaccine! Unbelievable!
From the article: “Doctors are reluctant to discuss GBS in connection with vaccines… Anti-vaccine groups frequently cite the disorder as evidence of vaccine dangers, which public health officials fear will discourage people from getting life-saving protection, especially in the case of H1N1.”
–But it IS evidence! The “odds” don’t make an incident like this “okay.”

feeling really sick this whole week and it seems everyday i am getting a little more worst my symptoms include
stuffy-running nose
congestion
sore throat-coming and going
body aches
head aches
coughing alot and almost throwing up
fatigue
no fever- so no chills but i have been very cold
etc
hoping its not the swine flu but wont know till i go see a doctor
then again i do not have insurance so if i go-i will have to go to the emergency room*which sucks*
Overall, i am totally against the h1n1 vaccine, i know its a setup-so i will not be getting that
So my question is will my body fight back and naturally heal it self if its the swine flu or will i continue to get worst?

How Many Moms Have Gotten The H1n1 Vaccine For Themselves/their Children?
was wondering,despite my adamance in NOT getting the H1N1 shot for my kids,how many parents have? I’m going to say now-I’m caving,because we had to take my daughter (who’s six and in first grade) to the ER Thursday because she had “flu like symptoms” (Called the nurseline,they told me to bring her in) and a fever. She’s six. Luckily,she got checked out and has strep thraot and NOT swine flu,but I’d like to avoid that,and it’s a LOT worse than I thought it was going to get (how many people are getting it/have it) So I’m calling Monday to see about the vaccine for her,myself,and my husband. All because we have a 12 week old little boy,and the chances he’s more high risk for it,and could die easier from it. Does this make sense to anyone? Has anyone gotten the vaccines for themselves/kids,and what all effects have/are you seeing? I’m just curious,before I go jumping into something like this. I was just wondering,because we think we are all 3 going to get it now. It’s strange how one little event can make you jump so quickly to do something you were adamant about NOT doing.
Before someone says anything,it’s made like all vaccinations-EVERY VACCINATION MADE has a mostly dead strain of the virus in it. Research it. I say this b/c I’ve asked this in a few sections,because it’s something I’m really wondering. I know that it’s made like all vaccines,with a mostly dead strain of a virus. I know the risk of both. It’s a damned if you do and damned if you don’t situation as a parent. They are running short on tamiflu (the treatment for swine flu) in a lot of areas,which is what’s making me think of doing it this way.

Head Of The Federal Cdc Is Now Advertising For The Companies That Make H1n1 Vaccine? Is This Possible?

The head of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, Anne Schuchat, advertising for the companies that want to sell 195 million vials of their H1N1 vaccine says, “Vaccine against flu is the best way to protect yourself . . . and those around you.”
Is this a “fact” or is this her opinion? I would think a government official would tell the public a healthy immune system is the best defence against any strain of the flu virus. This article admits, “most of the children who have died have had other health problems that made them PARTICULARLY VULNERABLE [my emphasis], such as asthma, muscular dystrophy and cerebral palsy…” There is no real evidence that what she is saying, what this article suggests, and the panic they are encouraging is really meaningful if the large majority of people (including children) recover from H1N1 without the need for a flu vaccine of any kind. The flu vaccine is NOT 100% effective, and the vaccine usually causes flu-like symptoms for up to several days anyway (they call them “side effects”). In fact, because the nasal spray form of the vaccine contains live H1N1 virus (they call it “weakened”) pregnant women are urged not to get it. If Schuchat is not simply advertising for the vaccine companies, what the heck is she talking about?
In an attempt to reassure the public, in one isolated paragraph this article says, “Additional data from federal studies testing the vaccine have found no evidence of any unusual risks…” But that doesn’t mean that evidence doesn’t exist. It means evidence hasn’t been found, and it won’t be found unless they do the right test to find it! Additionally, there has not been enough time to do any type of long term study. Plus, the vaccine still contains Thimerosal, which is a controversal toxic mercury substance.
Then the article ends with, “Although the virus causes mild illness for most people, some people become seriously ill, requiring intensive care to try to save them. ‘Unfortunately, we do expect more illness, including more hospitalizations and deaths, to be occurring in the weeks ahead,’ she [Schuchat] said.” Is it not obvious that her choice of words and how this article is written is designed to encourage panic so that you’ll run out and get the H1N1 flu vaccine before you’re too late and end up dead?

Already Had H1n1, Should I Bother With The Vaccine?
I had h1n1 in the spring (one of the first confirmed cases in the state) and I got very, very sick. It is now rampant on my campus and I think I’ve already had another small bout of it and have had the symptoms again on and off for the last three weeks. I have even missed my first college class ever because I was too sick to leave my room.
I have a compromised immune system due to an intestinal issue, chronic pneumonia, anemia, and a b12 deficiency so I am one of the at-risk groups that is encouraged to get the vaccine, but I am wondering if it is even worth it since I have already had the strain?

Can I Get The H1n1 Vaccine?
Ok, here’s the deal…
My daughter and I both went to the doctor and were tested for the swine flu via swabs in the nose and mouth, they came back negative- but the doctor said half of them come back as false negatives and my symptoms indicate that I have it (both of us). So we were put on Tamiflu. My concern now is, what if it WASN’T H1N1 and was seasonal and now what is our risk? Am I still able to get the vaccine even though I’ve taken Tamiflu- is it safe? We had no stomach symptoms at all just high fevers, chills, body aches, headaches, cough, and sore throat- and very tired…what should I do?? Is it dangerous to have taken the Tamiflu and get vaccinated? On the does info it says not to take the Tamiflu if you have been vaccinated in the last 2 weeks or plan to within 2 days so this is where my concern arises…

H1n1 Vaccine And Sickness!!!!!?
I have been sick for about 5-6 days now with pain in my chest, cough, chills, and a headache. Just last night I started getting a fever. Today I went to the walkin clinic and the doctor quickly asked me what my symptoms were, he told me I wasn’t having chills, which I am, and he prescribed me the TAMIFLU antibiotic, but I read up on it and refuse to take it. He didn’t do much. Just asked me questions. He told me to go for my h1n1 vaccine, so I did immediately after leaving the office. Now I’ve got a fever of 100.7 and my chest is still very sore. The pains haven’t gone away and tylenol isn’t helping at all. My entire body is aching.
Should I go up to emerge and let them check me out there?

Who Should We Believe About The H1n1 Flu Vaccine?
How are we to know who to believe when it comes to getting the H1N1 vaccination when one day you hear from very well respected medical Drs and other sources that we should not be vaccinated under any circumstances because the vaccine can be more dangerous than the H1N1 virus itself and the next report says getting immunized is a must. There are many reputable sources that say it is nothing but scare tactics by the makers of the vaccine and most of the numbers regarding deaths from H1N1 are being blown out of proportion while at the same time others such as the CDC say the H1N1 vaccine is totally safe and it is a must especially for pregnant women and small children. There are several documented cases of death following H1N1 vaccinations. Reports are now saying that actress Brittany Murphy suffered from flu like symptoms in the days just prior to her death. I haven’t heard whether or not she had received the H1N1 vaccine or not. Could this be yet another cover up?

H1n1 Swine Flu Nasal Vaccine?
2 of my 3 kids and my wife took the nasal swine flu vaccine. The 3rd kid is scheduled to take the nasal very soon. I have had a seasonal shot but not the H1N1 vaccine yet. I have read the nasal vaccine is weakened live viruses which cannot grow. Can someone that received the nasal vaccine spread it to others and if so what would the person infected with the weakened virus symptoms be? Would the person infected by a person that received the nasal vaccine get worse symptoms then someone who received the vaccine or would they basically have the same symptoms (if any) of those that took the vaccine? Thanks

Should I Get The H1n1 Vaccine?
My school is planning a date where all the students and faculty can get the the swine flu shot for free if they chose to.
But the problem is that my mom and I can’t decide if I should get it or not.
A brief look at my medical history:
-Allergies: Penecillin, Amoxicillin, tree nuts, seafood, and seasonal allergies.
-Asthma
-Possible auto-immune thyroid thing
-sebborichic dermititus
And I sometimes get sick whenever I get shots, but not too bad. It seems like 1/4 the school is out sick with flu-like symptoms, so I’m terrified that I could get the H1N1 Virus, since I’ve heard it really hits kids with asthma hard. But the vaccine seems so new, and I heard they are all made overseas in China, so who knows how safe they are?
My mom said she would feel better if I got the non-active (dead) injection, but since it is my body, the final choice is up to me. (What, could they just sit on me why they stick a needle in my arm?!)
Should I get the shot?
