What In Your Opinion Can “cure All Symtoms Of The Desease” That Is The H1n1 Swine Flu Virus ?
by admin
i’ve heard about diehard soccer fans but this tops the score..
Russian soccer fans have been told to drink whisky on their trip to Wales for next month’s World Cup qualifier to ward off the H1N1 swine flu virus, the head of the country’s supporter association (VOB) said on Monday.
“We urge our fans to drink a lot of Welsh whisky as a form of disinfection,” VOB head Alexander Shprygin told Reuters.
“That should cure all symptoms of the disease.”
Russia’s Health Ministry has issued a public warning against travelling to Britain because of the spread of the H1N1 virus but Shprygin said he expected at least several hundred fans would go to Wales for the Sept. 9 qualifier in Cardiff.
“Health officials say this virus is very dangerous but being a fan myself I can tell you that for a real fan nothing is more important than the well-being of the team,” said Shprygin, who also sits on the executive board of the Russian FA.
“Russian fans don’t fear anything or anybody so this virus will not stand in our way of supporting our team.”
The Russian FA also said health issues should not prevent fans from travelling.
“We don’t want our team to be without any support for such an important match so we urge our fans to go to Wales despite the health warning,” a spokesman said.
Germany lead European Group Four with 16 points from six games, one ahead of Russia, with Wales in fourth place on nine points from seven matches.

H1n1 And Children… Have Any Of Your Children Had It?
by admin
So, my daughter was sent home yesterday with a 102 degree fever. She had also complained to the school nurse about having a headache and backache. My younger daughter was also sent home so that way I could monitor both at the same time and take them both to the doctor if need be. The doctor’s office said yesterday not to bring them in… but today I took them because my younger one had developed a pretty bad cough. Needless to say, the pediatrician confirmed that they both have it and ordered us Tamiflu at the local pharmacy. Now, not even 8 hours after their doctor’s visit, they’re running around the house like crazy. They’ve only had one dose of Tamiflu so far. I’ve heard that some people are having mild symptoms, but they seemed to make too fast of a turnaround for them to really have this. I have yet to hear of anyone feeling better in less than 24 hours. Don’t get me wrong… it’s wonderful that they feel this way, I hate to see them sick. But has anyone else here had the flu or has had children/loved ones have it and bounce back so quickly? The doctor wants to hear back from me tomorrow. My biggest fear is that doctors are too quick to say it’s H1N1 because it’s so widespread, but if this isn’t what my daughters really have then we’ve jumped the gun and wasted 2 orders of Tamiflu… and what if this isn’t it and they really do get it in the next month or so? Will the Tamiflu still work?
Symptoms of my children include:
My oldest is 8: She had 102 degree fever, was lethargic, and had headache and backache.
My youngest is 6: She had no fever, mild sniffling, and today had a cough that sounded really rattled.
Now neither one of them has any symptoms…. which is very strange to me… if it’s H1N1….

Has Your Baby Caught H1n1?
by admin
I think my 3 month old is getting it. She’s not bad at all. But she’s coughing a teensy bit, and sneezing a little bit more than usual.
I’m sick, hubby is sick, everyone is sick.
She’s been sleeping a lot these past 4 days.
I refuse to take her to the hospital. People there are sick and they can’t bare it anymore. I don’t want to potentially catch something and bring it home. I want to do a home healing type of thing. Hubby and I have been taking medicine, and the baby has been eating lots of breastmilk and sleeping a lot.
If your baby caught H1N1, what did you do? What were the symptoms and how bad did it get before you said “okay, time to go to the doctor”?
I’m not worried about any of us.

Have Your Kids Had H1n1 Yet?
by admin
I’m pretty sure that at least one of my kids have had it but she wasn’t tested. I know of 3 people at the school that I work at that have confirmed cases of h1n1 but I’m very sure there’s been MANY unconfirmed cases in the past month.
Anyway, if your child has had it or does have it, what were their symptoms? If they had a fever, how high was it and how long did it last? Any other info you have is much appreciated!
Thanks!

If Your Child Has Flu Symptoms Should You Get Them Tested For H1n1?
by admin
I’m just curious what you are supposed to do if you suspect the flu, do you just treat it like a regular flu and get fluids and rest and so forth or do you go to the doctor to confirm if it is H1N1?
I ask because my 12 yr old is sick and I am worried it could be H1N1. He had a headache last night and this morning started with a fever over 102 (not sure if it would go higher because he’s taking Motrin which only brings it down into the high 99′s), bad headache and a cough out of no where. He doesn’t have any runny or stuffy nose though, just the cough headache, fatigue and fever. He said his throat hurts but only when he coughs.
If he continues with fever should I take him in Monday and get him tested for H1N1 or just keep him home from school and treat his symptoms?

Have You Had H1n1 And What Where Your Symptoms? How Long Did It Take You To Get Over It?
by admin
My symptoms were the same as those of regular seasonal flu and it took about 7 days to get over it. I found this to be mild compared to the seasonal flu- I didn’t vomit like usual.

For Those Who Have Had H1n1 (swine Flu), How Did Your Symptoms Start?
by admin
I’m a little concerned about my son. He’s complaining of a “dry, burning” feeling in his throat and he’s got a dry cough every now and then, which he says makes the burning in his throat feel worse. No fever or anything, and I don’t want to take him to the doctor if he’s not REALLY sick. I feel like that would just be exposing him to all sorts of nasty germs, and if he’s not already really sick, he might end up getting it from the doctor’s office.

Can You Have Flu Symptoms Without Showing H1n1 In Your Bloodwork?
by admin
yes. H1N1 is only one strain of the flu virus. It is really not much different than the “regular” flu that comes around seasonally. Flu-like symptoms could be from any number of flu virus strains as well as several other conditions inchuding both bacterial and viral.

Can The H1n1 Virus Stay In Your Body For More Than A Week? I Have Flu Symptoms For 5 Days, Do I Test For H1n1?
by admin
my doc doesn’t think it’s needed. I have been on antibiotics for 4 days now for throat infection, could the drugs be suppressing the other symptoms of H1N1?
